Ashley's Awesome Analyses #2 - Book to Film Clubs

It's late. And I'm a little punch drunk. (I'm just gonna go ahead and assume I'm using that term correctly), but i want to start a book to film club. I'm currently listening to the Divergent audiobook (because one can't multi-task while reading, but if you've found a way, PLEASE tell me your secret!!!) and am starting to realize that crucial elemnts/scenarios/storylines that were written out of the screenplay would have either a) made the events of the film seem MUCH more plausible, b) given me a deeper emotional connection to the main characters/ characters in general, and c) explained the convoluted history of a country that came to the conclusion that they would be better off divided than united (you know, Jefferson Davis' stance). The point is, I know this happens often, and I think it would be entertaining/educational to get toghether with a couple of folk every month an discuss these issues. Not just on this series, but on any book that has been made into a motion picture. If you're interested in joining, let me know!
